The AlterPOP project is designed to stimulate the entrepreneurial culture in Zadar County together with the development of a positive relationship towards lifelong learning and the promotion of alternative approaches to agricultural production.

The activities that led to the project included visits to successful food producers in the Zadar County for the purpose of presenting examples of good work, promotion of organic food production through the organization of 6 food production fairs in Zadar County, Zadar, Benkovac, Gračac, Novigrad, Obrovac and Vrsima, networking of various stakeholders through the organization of interesting lectures, workshops and round tables on organic and ecological food production and other products.

Target groups of the project included young people aged 15 to 29 ( students of Agricultural Highschool and students of the university course study of Ecology in Agriculture in Zadar) and older employees in agriculture between the age of 55 and 64 years old.
