Brief description of the project: Outdoor Sport In Nature (SPIN) is a project from the Erasmus + Small Collaborative Partnership program to promote education and spread sports for the benefit of health with a special emphasis on the development of skills related to performing physical activities in a natural outdoor environment. By increasing awareness of carrying out activities in contact with nature in a safe but also fun way, cooperation with associations and coaches of various sports disciplines is also strengthened, which help spread awareness among the population and develop education for a healthy lifestyle by integrating sports and the natural environment, encouraging the protection of the environment itself.
The goals of the project are:
- increase the number of people engaged in outdoor sports,
- better promote basic sports,
- increase the participation of local stakeholders, such as sports organizations, municipalities,
- provide visibility to local projects and best practices.
